About us
Harpswell Corner Market is a seasonal market filled with local produce and select groceries, as well as delicious homemade breakfast pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads, cookies and more. We source produce from local farms and try to have a bunch of whatever is freshly picked available in the store, as well as use it in our bakery items. In addition, we work with smaller local providers to carry fresh flowers, additional baked goods, and local cheeses, meats, and beverages. And finally, we enjoy showcasing creative works in the space from local artists and craftspeople. If you know of something from the area you like and we don’t carry it, we’re always interested in learning about new products!
We invite you to stop by for coffee and an egg sandwich, or to pick up Maine-focused staples and have a chat closer to home.
Please visit us in person May through September for our full market experience and sign up for our newsletter on the home page to hear about pop-up and special events the rest of the year. We look forward to seeing you at Corner Market!
Joe is serious about good food. He started young and in high school worked at grocery stores, farms and restaurants. More recently he was a chef at NYC restaurants (Bouley, NoMad) and in free time delights friends and family with his pizza creations. Through all his food experiences Joe has maintained a (dry) sense of humor and a focus on great taste and quality, character traits that come in handy at the Corner Market.
Joe loves a batch of homemade kombucha, a serious snowfall, and playing sports with his kids.

Katie enjoys heavily frosted cookies, keeping up traditions, and trying to catch the frogs in the small pond beside the store.
